Home appliances from Beko

Orbit International, sole distributor of electrical home appliances from Beko, has introduced a range of new gadgets. The company claims that these appliances come with additional features and attractive looks.

Orbit has been selling these products from Beko, a European brand, for more than three years. It has recently launched home appliances like air conditioner, hair dryer, food processor, blender, bread toaster, electric kettle and vacuum cleaner. “We have introduced the new products to fulfil the growing demand,” said Basanta Bhattarai, sales and marketing manager at Orbit. According to him, demand for trendy household appliances has increased of late.

The company has launched two types of air conditioners. “The air conditioners which can be fixed in the ceiling are available in 1 tonne and 1.5 tonne types and are capable of producing extra coolness,” he said.

According to him, the product can release cool air in all directions which helps to regulate the room temperature in a short time. The 1 tonne and 1.5 tonne air conditioners cost Rs 116,500 and Rs 123,500 respectively. Similarly, its drum type vacuum cleaners are suitable for both wet and dry surfaces, according to the company. It features a 20-l tank. The cost of the 1,800 watt vacuum cleaner is Rs 11,125.

The company has unveiled a blender from the brand for the first time. The handy blender is available in three variants which cost from Rs 6,250 to Rs 8,375. Similarly, the food processor of 700 watt costs Rs 12,500. Likewise, the hair dryers which are available in 1,800 watts and 2,000 watts cost Rs 3,750 and Rs 4,500 respectively.

Orbit has also introduced new sets of bread toasters and electric kettles in the market. The automatic toaster is available for Rs 4,000. The electric kettle is another attraction from Beko. The 2,000 watt kettle can boil 1.7 l of water at a time and costs Rs 3,500.

Orbit has been selling its products through its 90 dealers across the country. The company claims that it has formed eight teams of technicians to provide instant service for the maintenance of air conditioners. It also provides after sales service for other appliances from its warehouse situated at Balaju, Kathmandu.

Bhattarai said their customers from outside the Kathmandu valley could get the service from their nearest dealer.

The company provides a one-year warranty on all the home appliances. The Kathmandu Post features some of the electrical home appliances from Beko in today’s edition of Bazaar.
