Robbers loot Rs 1.6 million from Tehrathum

TAPLEJUNG, JUN 28 -

Unidentified men looted Rs 1.6 million from two teachers who were on the way for the school from Tehrathum headquarters Myaglung.

The robbers looted Rs 1.2 million from Chudamani Ghimire, office assistant at Pokhara Higher Secondary School, Chaatedhunga and Rs 0.4 million from Loknath Pakuwal teacher at Saraswoti Secondary School when they were returning home after withdrawing salary of office staffs at 8 Wednesday night.

According to Pokhara Higher Secondary School Principal Medini Sangroula, the robbers looted the teachers using sharp weapons.

Meanwhile, police have been interrogating Ghimire and Pakuwal. They have been searching for the robbers.
