KATHMANDU, JUL 15 -
The government is all set to announce one-third budget for the fiscal year 2069/70 on Sunday.
The Cabinet meeting held this morning endorsed the one-third budget of the total estimated budget.
According to Minister for Woman and Social Welfare Badri Neupane, the ordinance endorsed budget will be sent for the approval at the President's office and will be announced today itself.
The budget will be announced as per Interim Constitution article 16.
Earlier, the government had decided to bring full budget, however, they had to change the decision due to immense pressure from the opposition parties.
Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun is scheduled to announce one-third budget at around 1 to 4 this afternoon.
