Deuba rules out possibility of CA election prior consensus

KATHMANDU, JUL 15 -

Nepali Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba ruled out the possibility of Constituent Assembly election prior formation of national consensus government.

Addressing a progarmme in the Capital on Sunday, Deuba said CA election was impossible prior the logical conclusion to the national consensus government.

He said Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai should put into papers at the earliest to pave a way to end political deadlock.

During the programme, NC General Secretary Krishna Sitaula underscored the need of national consensus government under the leadership of NC to end political stalemate.
