KATHMANDU, JUL 15 -
UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that there was no alternative to revive the Constituent Assembly.
During the meeting with the former lawmakers of dissolved CA at Maoist headquarters Perishdanda, Dahal said the only way out to resolve present political crisis was the revival of the CA.
He said the political parties are positive on its revival, however, they are afraid to open it out in the public, NC former lawmaker Subhakar Parajuli informed.
During the meeting, Dahal assured to hold discussion and finalise the issue at the party Central Committee meeting and to be held broader meeting.
Lawmakers, who have been lobbying for the revival of the CA, are scheduled to meet CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal this afternoon to take initiative for reinstating the CA to end the political impasse.
