‘Name of new indigenous party finalised’

KATHMANDU, AUG 08 -

The indigenous leaders are all set to announce the formation of a new party on Thursday, coinciding with the occassion of Indigenous Day. The leaders informed they would publicise the name and vision of the party tomorrow.

Indigenous leader Chaitanya Subba, who is active in the campaign to form the new party of indigenous groups, said that the name and vision of the party has already been finalised.

Talking to eKantipur, Subba said that the name of the party has been proposed as Samajik Loktantrik Bahul Rastriya Party. He also claimed that the vision of the party incorporates the issues of caste, gender, and so forth. “We have already finalised everything. We would be publishing them on Thursday,” said Subba.

Subba further said that a mission has been initiated for the formation of the party and the leaders would be chosen accordingly. He also notified that the convention could amend the name and vision of the party.
