DHANKUTA, AUG 08 - Limbuwan State Council Chairman Kumar Lingden on Wednesday claimed that the leaders of major political parties tried to lure them (indigenous leaders) with lucrative offer and urged for their disappearance in exchange.

Talking to the media persons at a program in Dhankuta, he said that the Maoist leaders, CPN-UML leaders along with others have tried to entice them with different offers in exchange for the dissolution of the indigenous council.

Nevertheless, Lingden said that they are looking forward to collaborating with the upcoming indigenous party. However, he clarified that they would not merge into the indigenous party.

Claiming that the rumours of their ties with the King are baseless, he said that their movement would not be stalled until they get their own Limbuwan state.
