KAKARVITTA, AUG 08 - A man was killed by his own brother in a dispute over property sharing at Dhaijan-2 in Jhapa district.
Dhana Prasad Prasain who was critically injured in an attack by his own younger brother and nephew died in course of treatment at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
The Prasain brothers had a dispute on the issue of sharing five bighas of ancestral land belonging to their ancestors since 2029 BS. According to the police, Dhana Prasad's brother Matrika Prasad and nephews Parasmani and Surya had allegedly attacked him on Saturday morning while he was working on his paddy field.
Following the incident, police have arrested the three on Monday. Investigation into the case is underway. RSS
