KATHMANDU: Dhansari Rawal (10) the daughter of Nara Bahadur Rawal of Toli VDC , Achham died on Wednesday morning owing to diarrhea.
She was studying in grade 2 in Malika Higher Secondary School.
It is learnt that she was infected with the disease due to impure water and stale food.
The entire 8 and 9 VDC of Achham have been affected by the diarrhea, local Rajendra Rawal informed.
Similarly, at least 82 police personnel of Armed Police Force (APF) have also been affected by the disease.
All the diarrhea infected police personnel are undergoing treatment at the APF hospital.
A team lead by Dr Sundar Dhungana of Kathmandu arrived at the hospital to give the treatment, DSP Benupi Prasad Pathak informed.
