KANCHANPUR: At least 80 workers lost their jobs after Baijanath Spinning Factory based at Sundarpur VDC in Kanchanpur district closed.
The factory that was established seven years ago was shut down after the promoter of the company, Bishal Jain, was murdered after his abduction some three years ago.
Worker Ramsingh Burma said that the factory was shut down after the Jain family was displaced to India citing insecurity.
The company was exporting its products to Kanpur, Bareli and Dellhi in India by producing the yarn by Khayar.
