KATHMANDU, JUN 28 - Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai remarked that it would not logical to lay blame on anybody for the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly (CA). The county, at this time, should have been united for the institutionalisation of republic after the promulgating the new constitution, the pime minister added.

“We should have been united for the implementation of the economic development strategy. But unfortunately we could not complete the responsibility,” said the prime minister, speaking at a special assembly of the Tribhuvan University.

“It would not be appropriate to blame a particular party or a group for this failure.” He added that all of us need to appraise ourselves.”

He remarked that the first Constituent Assembly failed due to the debate over identity-based federalism and new constitution with federalism.

“By embracing this historic fact, everyone should contribute to resolve the problem in a new way,” said the prime minister. “Progressive contemplations and special analysis of academicians could play an assisting role to address the current political complications.”

Saying that there is no possibility of a new and prosperous Nepal without the development of educated manpower, PM Bhattarai laid stress on the need to play a leading role by TU, the eldest and biggest university of the country, in this campaign.
